Create a zoo of wild animals, have some scary characters visit, and then invite some superheroes to save the day! Here at FunTAZM, we take a bit of a different approach to Face Painting. While we are very aware that there is always a line-up for a face painters at any event, we want your child to feel special and cherished for the few minutes we get to spend with them. Everyone deserves to feel special.

The ideas are really limitless, it all depends on the timeframe and how many children you want us to paint. If you are having a community event, we can do upwards of 30 faces in one hour. At Birthday Parties, we can take more time and paint whatever the requests are. We still bring our menu board, as most children have an easier time deciding when they can see what it will look like!
Here are some of the ideas that children have requested:

• ANIMAL FACES: tiger, lion, cat, dog, zebra, leopard, rabbit, mouse, more...
• SCARY FACES: grim reaper/skeleton, ghost, vampire, wolves, zombie, witch,...
• OTHER FACES & MOTIFS: butterfly, dinosaur, princess, pirate, dolphin motif, flower motif, clown, harlequin/mime, sun and moon motif, earth day motif,...
• SUPERHERO LOOK-A-LIKES: Spider-type Man, Bat-type Man, Hulk-type Man, Ninja-like Turtles, Iron-type Man

FunTAZTIC Face Painting is about creating the faces you want as quickly as possible. While there will still be a wait as there always is for face painters, we pride ourselves in doing a good job for your child to make the wait worthwhile!

FACE PAINTING AT BIRTHDAY PARTIES (per party, not per hour)

FunTAZTIC Face Painting is about creating the faces you want while spending quality time with your child. At birthday parties, we can take more time and paint special requests that we cannot do at a community event where children are lined up!

FAQ's About Face Painting

Q. How many faces can you paint in one hour?

Answer: At your large event where you expect a line-up, one face painter can do a great job of around 30+ faces per hour. At a birthday party, we can take a bit longer, depending on the requests. Generally speaking, one face can take 1 minute to 5 minutes, depending on the choice.

Q. What kind of materials do you use?

Answer: We only use professional makeup and face painting supplies that are 100% approved for use as makeup. We use professional horsehair paint brushes that are cleaned and conditioned with specialty soap made for this purpose.

Q. What do you charge?

Answer: FunTAZM has developed special rates for Birthday Parties, which are a flat fee for a party as opposed to hourly, and designed for the more budget-minded family event. It also takes into account that we can spend more time with each child at your party, as opposed to getting through many more children at a community or corporate event.
For community and corporate events, we charge an hourly fee. Rate information can be provided by contacting FunTAZM for a quote.

Q.How long have you been painting faces for parties and special events?

Answer: Dawn has been an artist for over 35 years, and started face painting specifically around 2006.

Q. What is the most common request from children for face paint designs?

Answer: A lot of rainbows, butterflies, zombies, snakes. We also have a tiara that is quite popular with young girls who say, "Look! It's Frozen!" Request vary so widely it is hard to say which is going to be the most popular at your particular event - but we love them all! We can also provide a menu based on the theme of your party or event! (ie. Paw Patrol, Monster High, Jungle Animals, etc.)
